Training: City gear up for Hammarby Euro clash

There was no lack of Monday motivation at the CFA as City finalised preparations ahead of our latest UEFA Women’s Champions League clash at home to Hammarby.

Gareth Taylor’s high-flying side will play host to the Swedes at the Joie Stadium on Tuesday evening in what will be our third Group D encounter, kick-off 20.00pm (UK).

City have made a flying start to our European campaign, lying top of the table after recording two wins out of two.

Indeed, Taylor’s charges will step out for our latest clash on the back of a magnificent unbeaten 11-match run in all competitions with City also sitting top of the Barclays Women’s Super League table.

Not surprisingly, sprits were sky high amongst the squad as the players honed their final pre-match preparations ahead of another big night under the Joie Stadium lights.
