Gareth Taylor put his side through our paces for the last time in the calendar year as the Barclays Women’s Super League break begins.
It’s fair to say it’s been a memorable 12 months for City as we lifted the Continental Cup in March and welcomed a number of new faces in the summer.
We also set a new Club attendance record for a women’s match at the Etihad Stadium, as 44,259 fans witnessed our enthralling 1-1 draw with Manchester United in December.
The draw with Marc Skinner’s side represented our last fixture in 2022 and it extended our unbeaten run to 10 games before the hiatus – with last week’s Continental Cup trip to Leicester postponed.
And there’s no doubt City will be raring to go when training resumes on 3 January, ahead of the our trip to West Ham on 15 January.
