Gareth Taylor’s side beat the Royals 4-1 on Sunday afternoon. After going behind in the first minute Chloe Kelly drew us level 14 minutes later.
The WSL top goal scorer Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw gave us the lead with a header before Lauren Hemp extended our lead early in the second half.
Captain Steph Houghton provided us with a set piece masterclass as she bent her free kick past an extended defensive wall to secure all three points.
And after the high-paced victory, the players took to the grass at the CFA to recover and begin preparations for a trip to Liverpool at the end of the week.
We take on Matt Beard’s side on Sunday 7 May, with kick-off scheduled for 14:00 (UK).
