Training and travel: Buoyant City are up for the Cup!

City were full of that Good Friday feeling as Gareth Taylor’s squad rounded off preparations ahead of Saturday’s huge FA Cup semi-final against West Ham.

Appropriately enough with blue skies breaking through at the City Football Academy, the players were in a relaxed and positive mood ahead of Saturday’s return to domestic action after the April international break.

City will lock horns with the Hammers for a second successive game – though this time the prize at stake is a place at Wembley in next month’s showpiece final.

Having recorded a fine 2-0 win against West Ham last time out in the league, City will travel to the Chigwell Construction Stadium in great heart.

Taylor confirmed in his latest press conference that Alex Greenwood is making good progress in her recovery from a knee complaint - another boost for the squad as we enter the business period of the season.
