LAST TIME OUT
In our previous assignment, Demi Stokes made her 200th City appearance but we were beaten on penalties by Leicester in the Continental Cup group stages.
The Foxes raced into a two-goal lead at the Joie Stadium and held their strong advantage until the interval.
However, thanks to Deyna Castellanos’ thunderbolt from 20-yards, Taylor’s team were given a lifeline before Laura Coombs equalised – forcing the game to spot kicks for an extra point.
Willie Kirk’s team then held their nerve and won the shootout 4-3.
PREVIOUS MEETING
A Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw hat-trick saw City fight back from a goal down to win 3-1 at the Joie Stadium the last time we faced Spurs.
The visitors’ Celin Bizet opened the scoring against the run of play, but Shaw’s close-range header on the stroke of half-time drew us level.
She then doubled her advantage from the spot soon after the restart, before completing the scoring on the cusp of full-time.
