Manchester City can confirm that Sydney Lohmann has undergone hip surgery ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Sydney will work closely with the Club’s medical team on her rehab and is set to miss the start of the season as her recovery gets under way.
The German international joined City from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2025, featuring 15 times in all competitions in her debut season in Manchester, helping the Club win a WSL and FA Cup double for the first time in our history.
