The best images from training as Gareth Taylor's side focus attention on City's next Barclays Women's Super League match.

City welcome Liverpool to the Joie Stadium on Sunday 21 January, with our first league game of 2024 scheduled to kick-off at 14:30 (UK). 

After a well-earned 4-0 victory over Durham in the FA Cup fourth round for City and narrow 1-0 away win for Liverpool against Bristol City, both teams head into the fixture looking to defend perfect records for the calendar year. 

And following a thrilling 4-3 win over Matt Beard’s side in the Continental Cup in November, this weekend’s clash with will likely deliver more exciting football for both sets of fans.

With the snow cleared, Taylor’s players were back out on the training pitch this afternoon as City looked to fine tune preparations for the home fixtures.
