Gareth Taylor’s squad went through their Good Friday paces at the CFA ahead of another huge Barclays Women’s Super League weekend encounter.

City make the short journey to Liverpool for a key Saturday lunchtime assignment which gets underway at 12.30pm (UK).

We will go into the game level on points with Chelsea at the top of the table.

Though the Londoners boast a marginally better goal difference, a positive result would see us regain top spot with Chelsea not in league action this weekend.

And we will travel to Liverpool full of confidence after a superb run of form that has seen Taylor’s side record 11 straight league wins.

So it was little wonder that spirits were sky high as the players went through their paces.
