Gareth Taylor‘s side welcome Emma Hayes’ Chelsea to the Joie Stadium this Thursday, with kick-off scheduled for 19:15 (UK).
And with both teams fighting for a place in the final, it was imperative that City were hard at work on Tuesday afternoon on the City Football Academy pitches.
City are on a 12 game winning streak in all competitions and a 13th on Thursday would see us face Arsenal or Aston Villa in the final at Molineux.
Chelsea will be looking to make amends for our previous encounter. Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw’s goal was the difference in City’s 1-0 league win over the Barclays Women’s Super League title holders just before the international break.
And with Thursday evening’s clash likely to come down to fine margins, our final bits of groundwork could well pay dividends.
