City kick off our return to competitive action on Wednesday with a huge Champions League second round qualifying first leg trip to Paris FC, kick-off 17:45pm (UK).
That is then followed by a visit to Arsenal on Sunday to start our Barclays Women’s Super League season before welcoming Paris FC to the Joie Stadium for the Champions League return fixture on Thursday, September 26.
It marks an intensive and crucial start to the new campaign and the City players were hard at work at the CFA on Monday afternoon as they went through their paces ahead of flying out to Paris on Tuesday.
At his pre-match press conference, the boss had revealed how pleased he was with City’s pre-season programme and how focused the players were ahead of the big kick-off.
