Greenwood has been missing since injuring her head while on international duty, sitting out matches against Arsenal, Liverpool and Brighton.
But she was back at the CFA today as Gareth Taylor’s women prepare for the exciting Old Trafford encounter on Sunday, which kicks off at 16:30 (UK).
Taylor has been very happy with preparations for the clash with United, calling the players ‘sharp’ this week as we look to earn bragging rights.
The boss will be looking for a response after back-to-back WSL defeats to Arsenal and Brighton, even though they were punctuated by an exciting Conti Cup victory over Liverpool.
The Manchester derby is always one to savour and the manager will hope the Blues can see off the Reds in this latest edition.
