City's women got back to business on Monday as the bulk of our squad returned for the first day of pre-season training.

A number of players are still absent having been on duty for their respective countries at the Paris Olympics.

But for the bulk of Gareth Taylor‘s squad it was straight down to business as the players reported back to the CFA for their first summer session.

Summer signing Vivianne Miedema, who was introduced to the City fans at a special event on Sunday, was amongst those putting the hard yards in.

And ahead of what promises to be a hugely exciting campaign with City also back in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, there were smiles aplenty as the players went about their work.
