The match will take place on Saturday 29 January and will now be hosted at the City Ground, with kick-off scheduled for 13:00 (UK).
FA Women’s Super League clubs enter the tournament at this stage of the competition, with Forest having booked their place in Round Four thanks to a 2-1 win at Stoke City.
Prior to that tie, the FA Women’s National League North side had defeated Lichfield City and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
This will be the first meeting between the two sides in professional competition, as City’s pursuit of a fourth FA Cup success begins in the midlands.
The tie will be the second fixture Forest Women have played at The City Ground this season, with the Reds breaking the FA Women’s Northern Premier League attendance record with a 4,443 crowd in October’s East Midlands clash against Derby County.
City have won the tournament on three occasions - most recently in the 2019/20 competition with an extra-time victory over Everton at Wembley Stadium, having also lifted the trophy in 2017 and 2019.
Tickets for the tie at the City Ground will be priced at £5 for Adults (18-64), £3 for Concessions (students and over-65s) and £1 for under-18s.
City supporters will be allocated Block T in the lower Brian Clough Stand, with tickets available here.
