After a mammoth journey from Manchester to Western Australia, our players made it to their base in Perth on Wednesday evening.

Having made it to Australia, City set on a walk around the local surrounds the following morning.
On the walk, Mary Fowler spotted a baby turtle on the path and guided it back to safety!
After that, they set off to the training centre for a gym session before heading out on to the pitch.
Over the next few days they’ll train and taste a slice of Australian life before our first match in the Perth International Football Cup.
Gareth Taylor‘s side will face Leicester City at Perth’s HBF Park at 11:15 (UK) on Wednesday 28 August.
The winner of that match will play the victor when Paris Saint-Germain and West Ham United battle.
That final, and a third place play-off, will both be played at HBF Park on Sunday 1 September.
