City players were the stars of the show at two Perth International Cup events this weekend.

First up, Mary Fowler, Alanna Kennedy, Yui Hasegawa and Chloe Kelly went to an event organised by the tournament promoter on Friday.

The City quartet drew an incredible crowd to Elizabeth Quay in central Perth for autographs, selfies and a Q&A session.

All four teams at the Perth International Cup were in attendance, with City’s sky blue overwhelming the club colours of Paris Saint-Germain, Leicester City and West Ham United.

Fans travelled from all over Australia to get a glimpse of the Matildas pair, as well as Lioness Kelly and Japanese midfielder Hasegawa.

Fowler and Kennedy have been big stars throughout our trip in Perth, with the pair meeting adoring fans after Wednesday’s penalty shoot-out victory over Leicester.

On Saturday, Kelly was joined by Laia Aleixandri, Alex Greenwood and Poppy Pritchard at The Court in the city centre.

They answered some audience questions and took photos with every joyous City fan on the bar’s rooftop.

They’ll again be part of Gareth Taylor‘s squad for Sunday’s final of the tournament, when we face PSG at 10:10 (UK).

That match will be available to watch live on mancity.com and our official app with an active CITY+ subscription.
