Three City players have been voted into the 2022 PFA Women's Super League Team of the Year.

Alex Greenwood, Caroline Weir, and Lauren Hemp have all made the prestigious seasonal XI, voted for by fellow professionals.

The trio were all outstanding in City’s superb second-half of the campaign, helping Gareth Taylor’s side to clinch Champions League football as well as winning the Continental Cup.

Weir and Hemp were also voted in the 2021 PFA Team of the Year.

The PFA team is dominated by players from Chelsea, Arsenal, and City, with champions Chelsea supplying four and Arsenal three.

Chelsea’s quartet are Ann-Katrin Berger, Millie Bright, Guro Reiten and Sam Kerr.

Arsenal’s trio are Leah Williamson, Kim Little and Vivianne Miedema with Manchester United’s Ona Batlle the only player from a team that didn’t finish in the top three of the WSL to make the XI.
