The 18-year-old moves to the Joie Stadium from Championship side Durham, having recently established herself in their senior setup.
Pritchard came on as a second half substitute against City in our recent FA Cup fourth round clash at Maiden Castle, where Gareth Taylor’s side ran out 4-0 winners.
A versatile forward with an eye for goal, the youngster grabbed a hat-trick for Durham’s Academy in a 3-2 victory over Manchester United’s Under-21s in November 2023.
She also found the net inside 15 minutes of her England Under-19s debut in September of last year as the Young Lionesses beat Denmark 5-0.
The 18-year-old is our first January recruit, and is excited to sign her first professional deal.

“It’s a great opportunity for a young player like me, so I just can’t wait to get started,” Pritchard said of the move.
“I think the opportunities for a player my age to be playing in and around the best players in the world, is just such a great chance and a real good challenge for me.
“The players here are the best, so learning from them will be a great opportunity and experience.”
Manager Gareth Taylor added: “Poppy is a very exciting young player.
“She is a specialist centre-forward with a profile of scoring goals and I’m looking forward to seeing what she can do.”
Everyone at Manchester City would like to welcome Poppy to the Club and wish her the very best during her time here.
