It’s all systems go for City ahead of what is likely to be a dramatic finale to the Women’s Super League season.
Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Tottenham on Wednesday night means Gareth Taylor’s side sit two points behind the league leaders with one match to go.
Defeat at home to Reading for Emma Hayes’ side and victory for City would secure our second ever WSL title, while a draw would also be enough if we were to beat the Hammers by five clear goals.
While that remains a tantalising prospect, the manager has consistently reinforced the importance of ‘controlling the controllables’, and will not take our away clash lightly.
With this in mind, our attentions will be devoted entirely to getting the job done against West Ham, and that focus was clear to see on the training ground.
