It’s no secret that Manchester City proudly boast the best fans in the land and all the world!

And that goes for all levels of the Club: the men’s team, women’s team and our Academy sides.

In celebration of our women’s team’s seven-year anniversary as a professional outfit, we’re shining the spotlight on two of our Official Supporters Clubs, who have followed Nick Cushing and Gareth Taylor‘s sides all over the world.

From Manchester to Miami... Lillestrøm to Lyonnais... Raleigh to Russia!

DAVE SHEEL : "'Why do I Support Manchester City Women?' has always been a very easy question to answer. I support them because I support Manchester City and to me, there is no difference, MCWFC OSC is my now football family - we laugh together, we cry together like any family. Congratulations and thank you to the team for an amazing seven years of success on the pitch and to MCWFC OSC for the community we have all shaped off it. Here's to many years of both continuing."

ANTHONY PLANT : "Having followed City from an early age and going home and away. my passion grew and grew. I go most games home and away but the game I get most asked about was the first ever game away in the Women's Champions League when we played in Perm, Russia against WFC Zvezda Perm. It was an amazing experience. The team stayed in the same hotel. I was surprised when I got invited to travel to the training session on the team coach. I was interviewed for the City site. It's got to go down as my most special memory."

DARREN PAGE : "As part of Manchester City I treat all teams as equal. I really enjoy women’s football and had looked out for their results. My best memory has to be the 1-0 win against Arsenal in the 2014 Continental Cup Final at Wycombe. With the game being a Thursday night, the Club put on free coach travel to enable as many City fans as possible to go and it turned out to be a night to remember. I really enjoy to be part of an OSC. I'm with the Heroes of Waterloo branch and I really enjoy the social side of things "

AUDRREY MACDONALD : "I was a football mad little girl but never imagined one day there would be professional women footballers on the cover of Shoot!.I love being part of the OSC. The committee and members are so friendly & welcoming, always having the ‘family friendly’ values of the FA WSL.I always bake some biscuits to share with our fans at away games."

MAGGS AND AERYN KELLY : "What does Manchester City women mean to us? It means: family ,pride and passion The OSC put on coaches for away games which makes it easier for me to bring Aeryn with me. Aeryn has been a mascot twice. I’m looking forward to the future at City - more trophies! I can definitely see us winning the Champions League. Hopefully, we will be back in our seats watching the team live, meeting up with our football family."

JAYNE COMER : "Manchester City Women are a huge part of my life and my identity as a City fan. I've been a City fan my whole life and when the Women's team turned professional in 2014 I knew that I wanted to actively participate in supporting this side of the club. Since then I have followed City Women everwhere; home games, away games, and European trips too. I have had the chance to visit so many amazing countries with friends that I have made along the way."

JAYNE COMER : "Manchester City Women are a huge part of my life and my identity as a City fan. I've been a City fan my whole life and when the Women's team turned professional in 2014 I knew that I wanted to actively participate in supporting this side of the club. Since then I have followed City Women everwhere; home games, away games, and European trips too. I have had the chance to visit so many amazing countries with friends that I have made along the way."

LOUISA MCPHAIL : "My partner (the famous ‘Perm One’) took me to my first game at the Academy Stadium. I was immediately impressed by their strength. I became a Hospitality Seasoncard holder and never missed a game thereafter. I am also now the General Secretary of The Heroes Supporters Club and I love to get involved promoting the women's team within our Club. I have been fortunate enough to travel overseas to see them play. I find it rewarding helping fans to attend and enjoy the social side."

CHRIS MIDDLETON : "Man City Women means another journey with Man City. I’m currently Chairman of the the Heroes of Waterloo OSC (Ashton-under-Lyne) and we have a sub-branch: a Women’s OSC, where I’ve promoted the women’s game and encouraged fans to come along and watch. We’ve around 22 in Hospitality and around 30-40 in the stands, and we take around 20+ to every away game. The Branches are a tool to bring like-minded fans together who form lifetime friendships and also provide a cheap way to travel to away games."
