It follows another strong month by City where the duo helped us win each of our two top-flight assignments and maintain our six-point lead at the division’s summit.
History was also made by Bunny in December as she became the first women’s player to reach 100 goals for the Club when she netted four in our 6-1 win over Aston Villa.

The Jamaican started the month with two goals and provided an assist in our late 3-0 win over Leicester.
With the match goalless with little over 15 minutes remaining, Shaw latched onto a sliced clearance inside the box to drill home the opener before she headed into the net from a corner shortly after.
She then played an inch-perfect pass into Kerolin’s feet before the Brazilian arrived inside the box and coolly slotted home.
Shaw then etched her name into City’s historic book a week later when she plundered her 100th goal for the Blues when opening the scoring in our 6-1 win over Aston Villa in the 37th minute.
She then doubled her tally on the cusp of half-time before netting twice after the 84th minute which raised her total as our all-time leading scorer to 103 so far.
Miedema also enjoyed a stellar December, helping us to the win at Leicester before registering two assists and scoring in the triumph over Aston Villa.
She provided Bunny’s opener against the Villans with an accurate cross from the left which allowed the Jamaican to direct the ball home.
And her assist for Aoba Fujino’s second-half strike showcased her class once again when she played a pinpoint pass with her left foot into the Japan winger’s path before the 21-year-old fired into the net.
Miedema then scored our fourth of the afternoon – showing her poacher’s instinct to tap home from close range.
