Take a look at a selection of images from Tara O’Hanlon’s first day as a Manchester City player.

The versatile defender moves to the Club from Peamount United – penning a three-and-a-half year deal which keeps her at the Joie Stadium until 2027.  

It represents her first professional contract, joining Laura Blindkilde Brown and Poppy Pritchard as deadline day arrivals.

O’Hanlon enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2022 for the Peas by scoring four goals in 27 appearances in all competitions. 

In the following season, her meteoric rise continued as she helped Peamount to the League of Ireland title while also making her senior Republic of Ireland debut against the USA in a 2023 April friendly.  

Visiting the City Football Academy to put pen to paper on a switch to City, O’Hanlon posed for photographs before conducting her first interview in sky blue.
