Back at base!

Our women’s team have returned to the City Football Academy, following a two-week international break.

Club football resumes this weekend with an FA Women’s Super League trip to Everton on Sunday (6 December, 14:30 UK time).

Pleasingly, Gareth Taylor confirmed on Thursday the squad are looking in good shape ahead of the clash, receiving a major boost with the news Lauren Hemp could make her return from injury in Merseyside.

Meanwhile, Lionesses Alex Greenwood and Chloe Kelly, who had to withdraw from international duty, are also set to be in contention.

Having already played each other three times in 2020/21 (in the Women’s FA Cup Final, Continental Cup and a pre-season friendly), City and Everton are familiar foe.

Looking to return to winning ways in the league, having drawn 2-2 against Manchester United last time out, City - sporting our new burgundy PUMA training range - are ready and raring to go...
