Gallery: Lionesses return to training!

City's Euro 2022 heroes were back at the CFA on Wednesday as we take preparations up a notch ahead of the 2022/23 season.

Fresh from tournament success with England, Alex Greenwood, Lauren Hemp, Chloe Kelly, Ellie Roebuck, Demi Stokes and Keira Walsh are all back in Manchester.

City’s season begins next Thursday, when we face Kazakh side Tomiris-Turan in the Round One semi-final of the Champions League. Should we win that tie, we will face either Real Madrid or Sturm Graz in the final of the mini tournament.

With that match in Madrid now just around the corner, Gareth Taylor‘s side were hard at work in the Manchester sun.
