Training: Spotlight on Conti Cup clash with Leicester

The best images as City go through their final preparations ahead of the Continental Cup match with Leicester City.

Gareth Taylor’s squad have been in fine spirits since their first visit to Old Trafford and claiming three points with a 3-1 victory over Manchester United in the Women’s Super League.

But the focus has quickly switched to our third Group B match in the Conti Cup as we aim to maintain our 100% record in the competition after wins over Everton and Liverpool.

Wednesday’s big game kicks off at 19:00 (UK) at the Joie Stadium with the match also being shown live on CITY+.

Ahead of the tie, the players were working hard at the City Football Academy aiming to build on that derby win.
