Hands on action was the order of the day as Manchester City’s women’s team stepped up preparations ahead of the new FA WSL season.

New boss Gareth Taylor has been rallying the troops at the City Football Academy (CFA), and our goalkeeping trio were all put through their paces in our latest session.

Karen Bardsley, Ellie Roebuck and Karima Benameur Taieb were all kept more than busy as they were put to the test by their outfield colleagues

The women’s team have been in buoyant mood since returning to training, and keen to get back to work after the 2019/20 campaign was forced to end early due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

And, judging by the focus and application on display at the CFA, the squad can’t wait for the return of competitive action!
