The Etihad Stadium welcomes Gareth Taylor’s table-toppers on Friday – and he’ll be looking to mastermind an evening to remember.

It’s Friday Night Football as City welcome Tottenham for a 19:30 (UK) kick-off.

It should be an exciting occasion as the Blues look to see off Spurs and rubberstamp our spot at the summit of the WSL.

Taylor’s side have been in red-hot form of late, heading into the game with an unbeaten run of ten matches across all competitions in 2024/25.

That’s nine victories and one draw, including four wins out of four in the UEFA Women’s Champions League as well as five triumphs in the WSL.

That quintet of successes in the league – coupled with a 2-2 draw away at Arsenal – has us in top spot, one point ahead of Chelsea, heading into the clash with Spurs.

Robert Vilahamn’s team, meanwhile, are in seventh as they look to build on their sixth-place finish last time out.

Our players this afternoon trained at the Etihad Stadium ahead of the game in order to acclimatise away from our usual ground, the Joie Stadium.

It was a positive mood in camp as we look to add more points on the board.
