New Head Coach Taylor took charge for the first time and having missed football for so long - with the early conclusion of the 2019/20 FA Women’s Super League season - the players were delighted to be back.

Sporting the new PUMA training gear, the squad looked smart as they sharpened up, with the extra motivation of impressing the new boss.
“Being back with the girls and the team is always nice,” said Keira Walsh. “It’s exciting.
“I think especially with the way the league finished, we are more motivated. I don’t think losing is a motivation but we always want to win.
“There’s the motivation to stay at the top and we have a new manager. Nobody really knows what his tactics are, how we’re going to play, how he’ll set the team out…
“We’re all going to have to work hard and impress to get into the starting XI.”
