Manchester City can confirm that Vivianne Miedema has undergone a successful surgery on her left knee.
The Dutch international will now begin a period of rehabilitation at the City Football Academy, working closely with the Club’s medical team.
Our number six enjoyed a successful start to life at City with two goals and one assist in her five appearances in all competitions as Gareth Taylor‘s side remained unbeaten leading up to the first international break.
Her last appearance came in our 2-0 UEFA Women’s Champions League win over Barcelona at the Joie Stadium in early October.
