The youngster came off the bench in the Blues’ Barclays Women’s Super League clash with Leicester City at the Joie Stadium.
It’s a special moment for the midfielder, who entered the fray for the final 20 minutes alongside her fellow academy graduates Codie Thomas and Lily Murphy.
She’ll hope to follow in their footsteps and earn a first professional contract in the coming months.
The 17-year-old initially joined the Club from grassroots football in 2022 and has worked her way through City’s Academy system over the following two years.
A composed and versatile midfielder, O’Carroll is comfortable sitting in front of the defence and dictating play or bursting forward to join the attack.
The Republic of Ireland youngster has been a regular feature in Gareth Taylor’s 2024/25 matchday squads and was one of four Academy stars to feature on our pre-season tour of Australia.

O’Carroll started our opening friendly in Perth against Leicester City before being replaced by Yui Hasegawa on the hour.
She also gained valuable experience last season on a dual registration at FC United of Manchester.
But now O’Carroll will be afforded her first senior opportunity at City, and everyone at the Club would like to congratulate her on making her debut.
