Gallery: City's England stars go retro!

Excitement is building ahead of Wednesday’s launch of the Women’s Euros 2022 tournament when hosts England tackle Austria in the opening match.

And ahead of the eagerly-awaited showpiece event, a host of City stars – including several members of Sarina Wiegman’s Lionesses squad - got into the Euros mood by donning some retro England shirts.

The City contingent, including Lionesses stars Ellen White, Demi Stokes, Keira Walsh, Lauren Hemp and Ellie Roebuck, rolled back the years by donning some iconic home and away shirts that England sported back in the early 1980s!

The players were also pictured in front of flags from a number of countries featuring City stars, all looking to claim Euros glory later this month.
