City’s quest to regain the trophy will begin on the last weekend of January with a trip to the Midlands, as FA Women’s Super League clubs enter the tournament at the fourth round stage.
This will be the first meeting between the two sides in professional competition.
City have won the tournament on three occasions - most recently in the 2019/20 competition with an extra-time victory over Everton at Wembley Stadium, having also lifted the trophy in 2017 and 2019.
FA Women’s National League North side Forest reached this stage with a 2-1 win at Stoke City, after defeating Lichfield City and then Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0.
The fourth round ties are set to take place on Sunday 30 January 2022.
