RELIABLE, INTELLIGENT MIDFIELDER
Femi has been a part of Manchester City’s Academy since 2021, making the move north following his progression through Arsenal’s Academy at a younger age.
He is a talented, versatile midfielder that can be enlisted as a six or an eight.
With a strong ability to read the game and break-up play, Femi often plays in the shadows but his critical timing and footballing brain can quickly break down any opponent’s attack.
In 2023/24, Fapetu totalled 20 appearances for the Under-18s and EDS.
For the 2024/25 season, Fapetu was a senior player in Oliver Reiss’ Under-18s side, and totalled 20 appearances in the Under-18 Premier League North, helping City lift the north title.
In the new campaign, Fapetu has stepped up to the EDS in what will be his first full season in the Premier League 2.
