Committed, versatile defender
Kaden has had a long journey with Manchester City’s Academy to date, having first joined as part of the Under-9 group.
A player comfortable at left centre-back, left-back and also in midfield, Kaden combines his powerful athletic abilities with calmness and high quality on the ball.
After getting a taste for what life is like at Under-18 level in the latter stages of the 2023/24 campaign, for the 2024/25 season, Braithwaite will officially be a part of the Under-18s squad.
Not only that, Lead Coach Oliver Reiss has asked Kaden to be his vice-captain for the campaign, working with captain Rhys Thomas to guide the team on the pitch.
In September 2024, Braithwaite became the third youngest player to make their full debut for the Club.
Aged 16 years and 229 days at the time, Kaden made his debut in our 2-1 Carabao Cup win over Watford at the Etihad.
