TECHNICAL AND VERSATILE
Since joining City’s Academy, Henderson-Hall has showcased his technical ability at full-back.
His ability to play using both feet and excellent physical profile has allowed him to excel as part of the Under-18s squad during the 2023/24 season.
Matty made a total of 26 appearances for the Under-18s and EDS which included six goal involvements.
He also started in City’s 4-0 FA Youth Cup triumph over Leeds United at the Etihad which saw us lift the prestigious trophy.
Henderson-Hall carried his impressive form into the 2024/25 season, his first with the Elite Development Squad. He made 35 appearances in the PL2, UEFA Youth League and FA Youth Cup and in a variety of positions, showcasing his versatility and development in multiple areas of the pitch.
He will continue his journey towards senior football with the EDS throughout the 2025/26 campaign.
