First registering with the Academy aged eight, Seb’s game suits the City style with his technical quality and comfort on the ball at full-back.
After he signed his scholarship in July 2022, Naylor progressed to the Under-18s squad for the 2022/23 campaign and went on to make 15 appearances.
The 2023/24 season brought more success for Naylor who made 25 appearances across all competitions for the Under-18s, including City’s FA Youth Cup winning squad.
2024/25 was Seb’s first full campaign with the EDS in which he totalled 19 appearances in the Premier League 2, playing a key role as City won the title.
He also scored his first goal in the competition, showing his improvement in getting forward to help City overload the opponent’s final third as well as completing his defensive duties.
He’ll be looking to have the same impact under Ben Wilkinson’s guidance in 2025/26.
