DYNAMIC, TECHNICAL GOALKEEPER
Spike signed for Manchester City as a scholar in the summer of 2023 following his impressive progression through AFC Wimbledon’s Academy.
Known for being a composed goalkeeper who is comfortable at distributing the ball across a range of distances, Brits spent his debut campaign in sky blue with the Under-18s. He made eight appearances in between the sticks.
For the 2024/25 season, he has moved up to the EDS squad to compete in the Premier League 2.
After a difficult spell in the season saw him sidelined through injury, Brits returned to full fitness and played a key role as City went on to win the 2024/25 PL2 title. He made 19 appearances across the Under-18 Premier League North, PL2 and UEFA Youth League, keeping seven clean sheets.
And the shot stopper will be looking to gain more valuable game time with the EDS squad in 2025/26.
