Versatile, skilful striker
Will first joined City in 2015 and has been a consistent goal-scorer for the youth sides ever since.
A versatile forward player with the ability to link up play from forward positions, Dickson signed his scholarship with the Club in July 2021.
In 2021/22, he played 19 times for City’s Under-18s as we won the Under-18 Premier League title and even featured twice for the EDS.
Will progressed to the EDS for the 2022/23 season where he made an impressive 38 appearances and scored 18 goals in the process.
Despite some time on the sideline through injury, Dickson still proved to be an important figure in the EDS side, totalling 12 appearances and five goals in the 2023/24 campaign.
Back to full fitness, Dickson made a total of 15 appearances for the EDS in the 2024/25 season before he moved to Motherwell on loan in January for the remainder of the campaign. He went on to make a total of seven appearances for the Scottish outfit as he gained valuable experience in senior football.
After a hard-working pre-season, Dickson has joined League Two outfit Chesterfield on a season-long loan for 2025/26 as he continues to develop in the senior game.
