Manchester City will play Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday 17 March, kick-off 8pm.
Any ticket holder found to have played a role in allowing an away fan into the home sections will be subject to a stadium ban in line with the Club’s sanctions and bans policy.
Cup Scheme payments will be taken on Monday 9 March.

Season Ticket Members are reminded that their seasonal seat is not guaranteed for any Cup game played at the Etihad Stadium.

TICKET DETAILS
Ticket Transfer is only available to Season Ticket Members on the Cup Scheme.
You’ll be able to transfer your Cup Scheme ticket from Wednesday 11 March.
Season Ticket transfer rules apply across all competitions, but Cup matches have a slight difference:
For Cup games, you can transfer your ticket to:
✅ Another Season Ticket Member (only if they’re not on the Cup Scheme and don’t already have a ticket for the match*)
✅ One of your 3 nominated non-Members
✅ An Official Cityzens Member
If you purchase any additional tickets for this match these cannot be transferred, however tickets can be assigned to fans that qualify in the journey.

Your Cup Scheme payment will be automatically taken on Monday 9 March. Please ensure that your card/payment details are up to date by following the below steps:
- Log in to your online account here
- Click on Cup Schemes under your name
- Highlight the UEFA Cup Scheme by clicking the box to the left
- Click Update Payment Card and input the correct payment card details
As a result of UEFA requirements, a number of seats allocated to Season Ticket Members registered on the UEFA Cup Scheme will be unavailable. More details below.
If you are affected, we will allocate you the seat you were allocated for the match against Galatasaray as your preferred seat for the match against Real Madrid.

If you are in the UEFA Champions League Cup Scheme, your seat is guaranteed for all home matches in the competition. You will not need to purchase these tickets on a match-by-match basis, payment will be taken automatically from your nominated account/card in advance.
If you are not in the UEFA Champions League Cup Scheme, your seat is not reserved for this competition. You will however receive a priority window to purchase individual match tickets for home matches in this competition, outlined in the Sales Criteria.

Fans found to be passing their tickets on to away supporters, directly or indirectly, may be in breach of the terms and conditions and could face sanctions by the club, including receiving a ban from attending future matches; full details can be found in the Supporter Charter.
