City received a triple boost ahead of Wednesday night’s Champions League visit of Basel.

Long-term absentee Benjamin Mendy, Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph trained at the City Football Academy - hours after the Blues’ Premier League victory over Chelsea.

Mendy has been sidelined since September, while Sterling has missed the last three games due to injury. Delph was suspended following his red card in the FA Cup clash at Wigan but has now completed his three-game ban and is back in contention.

Focus now switches to European action, as Pep Guardiola’s men look to confirm progression to the quarter-finals, having cruised to a 4-0 victory in the first leg in Switzerland.
