In our third group game of the European competition, Ben Wilkinson and our Elite Development Squad will take on AS Monaco at the Joie Stadium this evening, with kick-off scheduled for 19:00 (UK).
City’s focus will be on earning an important three points, with only the top two teams from each group to qualify for the knockout stage.
Currently, our young boys in blue sit in fifth on two points following a 1-1 draw with PSV Eindhoven and 2-2 stalemate with Real Madrid.
Second-place Everton have six points, so a spot in the play-offs is still achievable if we can claim all three points on Tuesday evening.
It’s our second time facing AS Monaco this season.
Our Under-19s took them on back in October, where we played out a thrilling 5-3 triumph in the UEFA Youth League.
This time, our Under-21s will be looking to achieve the same outcome.
