The holders welcome Millwall to the City Football Academy in the fourth round of the prestigious competition at 19:00 (UK) on Thursday 16 January.
Our young charges won the trophy last term following a memorable 4-0 win over Leeds in the final thanks to goals from Justin Oboavwoduo, Jaden Heskey, Stephen Mfuni and Matty Warhust at the Etihad Stadium.
Oliver Reiss’ side reached this stage of the tournament with a battling and dramatic 1-0 success over Crystal Palace last month at the Joie Stadium.
With scoreline goalless entering the closing stages, Dan Batty netted in the 82nd minute which helped us to the hard fought triumph.
And we’re expecting a challenging task from another side from the capital after Millwall beat Hull 5-4 on penalties following a 2-2 draw to book their place at this stage of the FA Youth Cup.
