Harrison Miles says he is ‘loving’ life in City’s Under-18s after we picked up our ninth successive win in the Under-18 Premier League North after a 4-1 triumph over Stoke.

Miles is a new face to not just City’s Under-18s but to the Club. The holding midfielder made the move to Manchester from Southampton in the summer and has gradually gained more and more minutes in Oliver Reiss’s side.

He featured for the entirety of our win over Stoke in our final game of 2024. He was everywhere on the pitch, helping begin attacks or stopping the Potters ones of their own.

The academy ace plays with an impressive level of maturity for a 16-year-old.

And the midfielder credits his positive performances and quick start to life to the togetherness and welcoming nature of his team-mates.

“I love it,” said Miles when asked about life at City.

“It’s a different style of football than to what I’ve been used to. But it’s a really good style of play and I think it suits me quite well.

“I think the boys have helped me quite a lot to settle in.

“I’m staying upstairs [at the City Football Academy] which allows you to settle.

“And over time I’m just letting my technical ability and stuff on the ball shine and hopefully that allows me to get into the team.”
