City Elite Development Squad defender Max Alleyne is confident him and his team-mates will not be slowing down in momentum as we picked up a seventh successive league win on Friday evening.

Our 5-0 triumph over Norwich in the Premier League 2, which included a 22-minute hat-trick from Reigan Heskey, means City stay at the league summit, a huge contrast to our performances last season which saw us finish 23rd.

And the skipper for the evening believes the team are playing better than ever because of City’s comradery.

And Alleyne also doesn’t see our winning form slowing down.

“I think everyone just wants to win,” began Alleyne.

“We want to win every game and we aren’t going to take our foot off the gas. The plan is to win every game.

“I think we are just playing as a team. Everyone is enjoying their football, everyone is playing as a team, our wingers are scoring, we’re keeping clean sheets, everyone is just doing their jobs.

“Everyone is happy!”
