Just as in our third-round win over Blackburn, the Elite Development Squad striker opened the scoring for Ben Wilkinson’s side at the Academy Stadium against the Seagulls.

“The FA Youth Cup is massive. It’s one of the biggest tournaments in youth football. It’s something I want to win, and all the lads want to win too,” the 18-year-old declared.

“The main thing was to get through to the next round and that’s what we’ve done.
“The performance could have been better and there is stuff to improve on but that is the whole point isn’t’ it?
“We’ll see what Fleetwood or Middlesbrough offer. I’m sure they’ll offer something different that we have to adapt too but hopefully we can put on another good performance.”
