Thousands of fans flocked to the City Football Academy at the weekend as the Club staged a hugely successful Cityzens Saturday.
The Club’s first team squad, along with manager Pep Guardiola and his coaching staff, were given a rapturous welcome by supporters.
The squad, including City’s five new summer signings, went through an open training session and then posed for pictures with fans as well as signing autographs.
Fans also had the opportunity to hear from Manchester City Women, EDS and Academy players as they looked ahead to their respective campaigns starting in the coming weeks and months.
After the morning’s activities, fans made their way into the heart of the CFA for an afternoon of exciting activities ranging from football skill challenges to live entertainment with music and guest interviews.
“It was fantastic to see so many fans at open training. The reception we received was incredible,” said City captain Vincent Kompany.
