The winning goal was scored by Sergio Aguero, deep into stoppage time, robbing rivals Manchester United of the Premier League trophy in the dying seconds of the season.
There’s never been a climax to a Premier League season like and Aguero’s place in the pantheon of City greats was secured with one swing of his right foot.
City never do things the easy way and this was a fine example of their ability to put their fans through the ringer.
