Ahead of the start of the new Premier League season, Leroy Sane has pored through the City TV library to select his favourite goals and assist from our record-breaking 2017/18 campaign.
The German winger enjoyed a superb campaign and his huge contribution was duly recognised by his fellow professionals with Leroy winning the prestigious PFA Young Player of the Year award.
Our title-winning campaign also saw him truly announce himself as one of Europe’s finest young players.

He scored 14 goals in all competitions and assisted a further 17. Remarkable statistics in anyone’s book.
Here Leroy reflects with CityTV’s Kelly O’Donnell, during our pre-season tour to America, on his never-to-be forgotten campaign and selects his own personal highlights.
They include a memorable couple of strikes against Liverpool, a stunning run and nutmeg assist against Newcastle… and the goal that gave him more pleasure than any other.
