Having now chalked up more than 200 career goals for Manchester City, Sergio Aguero‘s superb exploits have been further recognised by his nomination for the Ballon d’Or.

The City striker is among the first five names to be revealed as contender for the prestigious Ballon d’Or by France Football, along with Edinson Cavani, Alisson Becker, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema.

The Argentine striker, who last season became our all-time leading scorer, passed the 200-goal barrier in City’s deserved 2-0 Community Shield victory for City over Chelsea and has extended that tally to 207 so far this season.

It was further evidence – if any were required – of the predatory instincts which have marked Kun out as a unique talent ever since he joined the Club from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2011.

Having scored twice on his debut against Swansea, Sergio has since been a pivotal part of our success ever since – most notably with THAT goal against QPR in May 2012 which secured our first Premier League title.

To celebrate Kun’s latest remarkable achievement, City TV assembled a special video showcasing Aguero’s 201 City goals.

So sit back and enjoy watching Sergio do what he does best… score goals!
