Claudio Reyna, Ian Bishop, and more than 600 Blues gather for NBC’s Premier League Mornings Live fan fest in New York City

In October, NBC and the Premier League teamed up in the US for the first of this season’s Premier League Mornings Live fan fests. That weekend morning, the network invited fans of all clubs to turn up for a live watch party in Washington, D.C., with hundreds of City fans gathering for a massive watch party lubricated by free drinks, food, and more fun, including more photos with the Premier League trophy.

This past weekend, the party moved on to New York City, and even more Blues turned up for the fete, as Saturday’s slate of matches played live and NBC’s presenters broadcast live from the centre of it all.

After the Premier League trophy arrived by water taxi — taking a few laps by the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge — more than 600 Blues waited to greet it. Also present? Former Man City stars like Claudio Reyna — who grew up in the area and now serves, of course, as director of football operations for NYCFC — and Ian Bishop, who admired the critical mass of enthusiastic City fans.

Check out this quick video (above) of the party’s highlights — and register for Cityzens and your local official supporters’ club to get your exclusive early invitation to the next one.
