Bernardo takes on a Cuju’s challenge

A gifted playmaker for Manchester City and Portugal, how are Bernardo Silva’s skills when it comes to the most ancient form of football?

Gearing up ahead of the Chinese New Year on Tuesday 5 February, Bernardo took on a challenge from Chinese performers to show off his skills at Cuju, an ancient Chinese game that was recognised in 2004 as the earliest form of football by FIFA!

CityTV were there to capture every moment as Bernardo performed in the traditional Hanfu dress, looking to impress performers from the Linzi National Football Museum in China.
